$175 / 1-2 hours
A basic tuning is the building block of a stable, well-maintained piano. It is necessary to tune every six months in order to guarantee stability.
Includes:
A fine tuning to your preferred temperament and frequency
A full inspection of the piano
Removal of foreign objects
Minor on-site repairs (sluggish/sticking keys, small action adjustments, etc.)
-
$200 (Correction + Basic Tuning)
Additional basic tunings over several weeks may be required for the piano to stay in tune.
If your piano has not been serviced for 18 months or more, or you’re not sure when your piano was last tuned, there is a good chance it may need a pitch raise.
The farther a piano’s pitch has fallen, the longer it will take to raise it. It may require 1 to 2 additional basic tunings over several weeks to regain stability.

Price Upon Inspection
Many adjustments are simple enough that they can be done during a basic tuning. If, however, the piano requires the following:
Significant cleaning, regulation, or voicing;
Removal of the action;
Parts taken for off-site repairs;
I will provide an estimate upon inspection.
